MurMure Street Japan Tour 2025
Beautés fragiles Part 1: Osaka – June 5 (Thu) to June 9 (Mon) @ ArtOsaka
Part 2: Tokyo – June 16 (Mon) to July 7 (Mon) @ Gallery Kawamatsu

Murmure, the sensational duo who captivated audiences at the 2023 exhibition “À la manière noire” with their phenomenal drawing skills and wildly original ideas, are back in Japan!
This time, they’re showcasing not only their signature black chalk drawings, but also vivid acrylic works, striking installations, and even a sculpture—on view at ARTOSAKA and Gallery Kawamatsu.

Don’t miss the chance to experience their masterpieces right here in Japan!

*Murmure Street
a French artist duo consisting of Paul Ressencourt, from Caen in Normandy, and Simon Roché, who grew up in Paris, who met at art school (Beaux-Arts).
Bonding over their shared passion for drawing and street art, they began working together on street projects in 2010.
In addition to France, they have created murals using pasting and painting techniques in countries such as Norway, the Netherlands, Russia, and Martinique (a French territory in the Caribbean).
Their work is often humorous yet critical, sounding the alarm on issues within modern consumer society.
One of their main motifs, for example, is the garbage bag, through which they highlight themes such as excessive consumerism and environmental concerns like microplastics.
